New Datacentre vault opened -

EQSN invest in technical infrastructure to launch a second Edinburgh co-location vault, offering customers more space for expansion.

Such is customer demand that EQSN have made significant investment to provide additional datacentre facilities in Edinburgh. Adding to the existing Edinburgh facility and the two Glasgow locations the company has now opened a fourth datacentre space.

Roger Maxfield, Sales Director, notes "we are seeing a high demand for services in a number of strategic growth areas. It became evident last year that we would need to supplement our facilities with additional resources to meet demand and also to ensure that our existing customers had the expansion capacity they were indicating they would need. We are already seeing projections of 50% utilisation of the new resources within the first 6 months, this is significantly ahead of plan."
