In these dangerous times of viruses, key loggers, spyware and trojans, not to mention hardware failure, network snooping and the ever-present hacker it is vital that security for your systems is robust.

At EQSN we take security very seriously and understand the potential value of the data you place with us. We have been ISO/IEC 27001 accredited since 2007 in order to ensure your data is properly protected at each stage of its handling, whether it be physical location, backup media handling or eventual end-of-life system destruction.

We use Checkpoint certified security products which our staff are trained in and have many years experience of. High availability solutions as well as more basic security firewall requirements are equally catered for but the final solution will be determined by working with you to understand your needs.

Our 24x7 network monitoring is continually on the lookout for unusual activity that might indicate some form of attack either at individual client level or more generically. We work with clients to resolve any security issues, including liaising with external agents undergoing penetration testing on behalf of clients, clients locking themselves out of their systems and assisting in diagnosing security rules issues.

Management of firewalls to include updating of the rules base, patch devices and establishing VPNs are among the routine tasks undertaken as part of our contracted services.
