Isolation of data across two or more physical datacentres can be important to ensure that a major event at one site doesn’t prevent continued service. We currently operate out of four centres, two in Glasgow, one in Edinburgh and one in Boston U.S.A., giving a high level of resilience. Connected with our dedicated private high speed fibre links we are able to offer a fault tolerant solution to clients that require business continuity and disaster recovery solutions to meet their business needs.

We only use datacentres that feature the highest standards in delivering our service. This provides peace of mind and guarantee of service levels expected by high performing business.

Clients take space from single ‘u’ rack space through to multi-cabinet requirements. These are all equally managed with the relevant security access policies, chaperoning where necessary, physical security and environmental monitoring and control.

Dual  power is provided to every rack with battery backups and generators ensuring the service levels are not breached. Even single-power equipment is protected by automatic switch gear to take benefit from the dual feeds available. Racks are routinely configured with single phase power provision of 2kW or 3kW power included, however this can be upgraded for Blade type requirements. Power management equipment is utilised throughout to enable clients to manage power to their equipment as required.

A level of remote hands capabilities are included in the contract, providing the opportunity to have general tasks undertaken without visiting the facility. Insurance is held for equipment in each rack against accidental damage, fire, theft and flood.
